The Rosecaps are an independent rock band who, after selling out their debut headline shows in Dolans aand Whelans, a and landing slots at Sea Sessions and Indiependence, have been tipped by The Irish Times as one of the most promising up and coming artists of 2023.
The band have a rapidly growing fan base with over 12,000 followers across their social media platforms and 100,000 streams on Spotify alone. They boast an expansive discography filled with a refreshing, exciting new sound, landing them substantial slots at this year’s Sea Sessions and Indiependence festivals, as well as an opening slot for The Stunning earlier this year.
Their live shows are packed with energetic riffs, infectious melodies and an even bigger selection of unreleased tracks that crowds can’t get enough of. Some of their most noteworthy performances include support slots for Hermitage Green, The Stunning, Wild Youth, Hudson Taylor, and Chasing Abbey, as well as opening for The Clockworks throughout their tour of Ireland in 2022.
Taking inspiration from bands such as The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Blur, The Cure and The Smiths, they each contribute equally in their songwriting process, whether it be lyrically or musically. When it comes to releasing music, The Rosecaps certainly don’t plan on stopping anytime soon, constantly looking to the next studio session.
Planning ahead, The Rosecaps aspire to record a full length album from their substantial backlog of demos and unreleased material.
