We are a four-piece indie band from Dublin and we call ourselves The Temps. We’ve been together properly as a band for about a year and a half now but we had all played together at some point or another before then. We have graced the stages of The Button Factory, Whelans and the Workman's Club here in Dublin. We've supported bands such as The Tapestry from Manchester and other Irish bands such as The Dead Heavy’s.
We were described by RTÉ's Conor Behan as “breezy indie-pop” and that’s a banner we’re pretty happy to fly. Some of our influences would be The Stone Roses, The Cure, The Smiths and Real Estate to name a few, and those come through in our tunes alongside our own wavy style. We have featured on RTE 2FM and 98FM & Spin1038 numerous times.
We recently spent some time in the studio and have been releasing singles over the last two months.
