Formed in the basement clubs of a locked down Dublin City, The Vorgs are led by Donal Quinn, whose gravely croon is juxtaposed with the urgency of his post punk vocal attack. Dr. Beats, the percussive heartbeat of the group, drives their music forward with relentless, mechanical precision. On guitar and bass, Marcus and Cal have angular and atmospheric guitar lines that are reminiscent of the great post-punk and new wave bands that defined a generation.
