The Whatmans

The Whatmans, are a 5 piece rock band from Navan that have been together since the summer of 2007.

Its been a rather busy year for Navan band The Whatmans, not only were they crowned Irish Indie band of the year but The Whatmans have also extensively toured Ireland this year playing over 30 times up to June. They have graced stages in Sligo, Cavan , Louth, Limerick, Carlow, Donegal, Galway,and various venues around Dublin as well as shows in the UK. The Band is also touring Canada in October this year.

The Bands Debut Album “Fire up the Masses” is in post production and due out In Early 2011.
The band is releasing their second single from the album “Kiss the Mind” which will be accompanied by a rather artistic video.

Kiss the mind is due for release in September and the band recently held a art competition for aspiring artists to design the single cover and top Canadian artist Lisa Wakeham's design was judged to be the best and will be used on the single.

The band has also produced a short film around the stunning song “Solider”. The Short film which will go on General artistic release in December across most of Europe’s Indie film festivals.

Singer John Brennan states” There is no other band out there that has the artistic quality that we possess, where most bands like to rehearse we are out there playing every night we can to bring our music to new fans”
