The WU

The WU are an alternative three piece band from Dublin, consisting of childhood friends Daniel Brady (vocals, guitar), Ciaran White (bass guitar) and Daniel Kearns (drums, vocals).
The band seeks to blend 60s influences with their own brand of indie.
Formed in Raheny, North Dublin while friends at school, the band has relentlessly gigged around the country for the last few years, honing their craft on the Irish circuit. This included their explosive festival debut at Electric Picnic 2024.

The real excitement surrounding The WU stems from their notoriously energetic live shows, this is when the band truly thrives.
With their sound developing constantly and new music set for release in 2025, the three Dubliners have began to make their mark on the Irish alternative scene, making sure they don’t take life too seriously along the way.
