Made in Dublin, made to escape...
Martello is a 23-year-old Irish artist who fuses acoustic-driven melodies with ambient electronic elements, crafting a unique and immersive sound. Influenced by Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, and James Vincent McMorrow, he blends organic warmth with modern textures inspired by RY X, Novo Amor, and Talos. His ethereal falsetto, intricate guitar work, and earthy tones create a cinematic experience that deeply resonates with listeners.
A seasoned performer, Martello began his musical journey at seven with classical training and went on to perform solo at Carnegie Hall at age 13. He headlined the Coláiste Lurgan stage in 2019, gathering over 100,000 views. With years of professional experience, he is now focused on carving his own path in the global music scene.
Martello’s debut release in February 2025 marks a new chapter, with plans for multiple singles throughout the year, building on his successful live performance at The Ruby Sessions in 2024. He has set his sights on the 18th of April 2025 for his next release titled 'A lesson of Affection'.
