Vėtra is a Lithuanian singer-songwriter and kanklės player living in Dublin.

Born into the world of song and ritual, she grew up within her parents’ renowned folk group Kūlgrinda, recording eight albums and carrying Baltic traditions to audiences from the United States to India.

Her haunting voice captivated international audiences when she sang an ancient Norse funeral song on the television series Vikings, viewed by over 4.6 million people.

At the heart of her sound is the kanklės, a traditional Lithuanian stringed instrument she has played since childhood.

Weaving Baltic folk, poetic pop, and modern arrangements, Vėtra crafts songs of love, growth, and raw emotion. Her intimate performances invite listeners into a sound that feels both ancient and new, timeless and alive.
