We’re Not Together is the brainchild of Aoife Moore and Kevin Burke - writing, recording and
performing their original songs with a full band. Their music has elements of 60s folk, 70s rock
and timeless melodic hooks. Since releasing their 6-track EP in October 2023 (Spotify,
YouTube), they’ve had a busy 2024 with two singles recorded in March 2025, out for mastering.
Keep your eyes and ears open for new music and gig announcements this summer, and an
album coming soon!
Aoife and Kev recorded their EP with friends made at music sessions around Dublin. Playing on
their songs is Phil Christie and Joshua Murtagh on piano/keyboard, Chris Barry on bass, Donal
Bowens on drums and Aoife Kelly on fiddle.
Following on from a sold-out EP launch in the Bello Bar, 2024 saw the duo
● perform at Whelan’s ‘Ones to Watch 2024’, Ruby Sessions and festivals around Ireland
● selected as ‘Artist of the Week’ on 2FM’s New Music Show
● release follow-up single ‘Miles Away’
Aoife and Kev’s fortunes collided in Room 4, the music room of Dunshaughlin Community
College where both they went to secondary school. They quickly began performing songs
together in their senior secondary school years.
Finding mutual inspiration in Fleetwood Mac, Carole King, the Woman’s Heart album, Paul
Simon and Joni Mitchell, they frequently made time to write songs together during camping trips
to the West of Ireland and day excursions in their respective mammies’ cars.
Keep an eye on their social media for gig updates and live video performances, and follow them
on all major streaming platforms.
