YARD are the electrifying three-piece electropunk band from Dublin. Known for their intense and immersive live shows, YARD bridges the gap between electronica and post-punk, creating an auditory onslaught that leaves audiences sweaty, energized, and strangely unnerved. With their eerie mascot 'Bucketman' visually representing their unique sound, YARD is rapidly carving out their own niche in the UK, Irish and European music scene.
Since their inception, YARD has shared stages with the likes of Shame, A Place To Bury Strangers, Psychotic Monks, Mandy Indiana, Chalk, Enola Gay, Scaler and CLT DRP. Their electrifying live performances have earned them coveted slots at festivals such as Les Transmusicales, Into The Great Wide Open & Haldern Pop. Drawing inspiration from musical heavyweights like Death Grips, Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, SUUNS & Gilla Band, YARD’s sound is a concoction of aggressive yet infectious electronic post-punk.
A recent live review encapsulated the YARD experience perfectly: “In their presence, you see - and feel - them painstakingly crafting every note and sound with their bare hands, wrestling with different sockets, switches, strings, or even their voices. The venue was transformed into this factory of raw, unadulterated noise which kept us all at the mercy of the sound - collectively banging our heads in synchronicity.”
YARD finished out 2024 with their biggest UK tour to date, appearances at Spanish festivals ‘Monkey Week’ and ‘L’Incivic’ as well as debut French shows at ‘Transmusicales’ and ‘Supersonic’. The band appeared live in-session on KEXP in December 2024. With continued praise from KEXP, BBC Radio 6, Clash, Louder Than War, Rolling Stone and many others, a self-entitled debut EP releasing on May 13th 2025 and 20+ European festival dates already in the diary, YARD are poised to continue their meteoric rise.
