With a love of the highly polished sounds of the late 70s/early 80s and a focus on melody, harmony and wry lyrics, Zachary Crawford could easily be filed on the same shelf as Steely Dan, Hall & Oates or Prefab Sprout.
Former singer, guitarist and songwriter for Cork based band Fabric, Zachary put writing on hold to indulge in his love of live jazz, singing standards inspired by the likes of Kurt Elling, Mark Murphy and Chet Baker.
After a break from music Zachary took up songwriting again in earnest, releasing a self produced EP, More Matter With Less Art, in 2020. A full length debut is currently in production, due to be released early 2022. Zachary sings, plays guitar, bass and piano.
