Aonair emerged last year as one of the most exciting new forces in Irish music, captivating audiences with his lush, '80s-inspired alt-pop sound. Known for bold, sweeping melodies, electrifying guitar solos, and immersive, maximalist production, he delivers a live experience that’s both thrilling and unforgettable. Named an RTÉ Rising Artist of 2024 and a Ticketmaster Rising Star nominee, Aonair is primed for a breakthrough year in 2025.

His debut EP, Loveheart Birthmark, introduced his epic sound, earning praise from tastemakers like The Guardian, Nialler9, BBC NI, and The Last Mixtape. Following a support slot with The Coronas at The Olympia, Aonair embarked on his first Irish headline tour in late 2024, selling out The Grand Social and his homecoming show at the RCC Donegal. His dynamic live show—featuring multiple stages, short films, and spoken word—earned him a Ticketmaster Rising Star nomination.

Over the past year, he has been carefully shaping his sophomore EP, Think I’m On A Comedown, written and recorded between New York, Donegal, and Dublin. Co-produced with Adam O’Regan and Dylan Lynch of Soda Blonde and mixed by the renowned Philip Magee, this release promises to be his most compelling work to date.

Aonair’s momentum is undeniable.
