John Daly (Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar) and Sam Connolly (Drums) are MT.Heads. An upcoming force of Alt Pop/Indie Rock in the Irish music scene. MT.Heads are joined onstage by Aisling Stephens McGowan (Bass), Rónán Wright (Lead Guitar) and Callum Byrne (Trumpet), making them a strong 5 piece filled with groove, complex yet infectious melodies and brass elements that enhance their live sound whilst still sounding uniquely themselves.

MT.Heads are looking forward to their biggest year yet in 2025, following their increase in success and notoriety that 2024 brought. They will be releasing their debut EP ‘Windows Turned to Walls’ on February 14th, with three singles having been released in its anticipation; ‘Cranes’, ‘Feel Alright’ and ‘Lightning’. The EP was recorded and produced brilliantly by acclaimed Irish producer Daniel De Burca.

2024 was a huge year for MT.Heads from a release standpoint with ‘Dirty Emeralds’ receiving high praise from RTÉ 2FM’s Dan Hegarty as well as receiving radio play in the USA from iHeartRadio. The band’s singles ’Cranes’ and ‘Feel Alright’ landed them various interviews and articles such as an interview with ‘RTÉ Entertainment’ as well as coverage from online articles such as Hot Press, Music Crowns, Press Party, Curious for Music and more. They have amassed a combined 50,000 streams across all platforms from just 8 singles and broke to the forefront after their drummer (dubbed “Sam from Monkstown”) played live with The Killers infront of 30,000 people at Malahide Castle in 2022.

MT.Heads have proven their ability to put on highly-praised and exceptionally entertaining gigs for their ever-growing fanbase. They have played sold out gigs in multiple notorious venues around Dublin such as Whelans’s Main Room & Upstairs, Workman’s Main Room & Cellar and The Grand Social. As well as their Festival Debut at Sea Sessions 2023 They prove to be a favourite among a young-adult & college student demographic as 2 time winners of ‘The UCD Battle of The Bands’

MT.Heads hope to further increase their listeners and live fan base through 2025 following the release of ‘Windows Turned to Walls’ as well as their long list of unreleased tracks. The band are looking to land opening slots for touring bands in Ireland. They have shown an impressive commitment through their dedication to their craft and a love for their music, with all accolades being impressive for an unsigned and self managed band.
