Hanna Shokur

Hanna Shokur is a Ukrainian- born singer/songwriter, who came to Ireland two years ago due to the war in her home country.
Anna has extensive experience performing in various genres such as Jazz, Blues, French Chanson, Balkan folk, Ukrainian folk, Gypsy style, Klezmer style.
She has worked as a solo artist, a vocalist in bands, and a session vocalist.
She experienced recording albums for the popular artists, performed in live cabaret show, and appeared in a video clip for a notable artist, touring around Ukraine and throughout some other European countries (e.g. Greece, Monaco, Chech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Moldova.)
Hanna has recently written her first original song in English called "Miss you” which she successfully presented in February at the international band camp among the students from European music institutions in Germany.
On the 18th of April Hanna performed at the Workman's Club, where she presented her new songs:
"My Blues" and" Poison".
Hanna keeps working on creating new songs and finding her own niche at the Irish music market.
